Is Any of This Really For Me?
Of Course it is! Right now, many of us are working from home and isolated. We are in a very strange situation and all of us need to find a way to stay physically well and active and we need to keep our minds engaged.
Instead of generic workouts, we’re going to guide you through a structured process where you progressively work through more difficult cycling of movements and circuits no matter what you have available to you.
But this isn’t just about getting you tired or making you sweat. We want you to learn how to use your breath to boost your immunity and improve your physiology, we want to teach you movement and mobility principles to restore function in your body. Doesn't matter what you have or haven't done up until now.
Your Coaches and Creators of the Curriculum:
Jesse Irizarry is a former D1 Strength and Conditioning Coach who founded JDI over five years ago. He developed a system on how to teach not just the how but also the why - the principles and ideas behind foundational movements and how to structure exercise in a way that works for every type of person with every type of background. That’s what he’s done with the Strength Groundwork program, the beginner program at JDI Barbell, where everyone who has started has successfully completed in and become comfortable, proficient, and able to build strength safely and effectively in the foundational lifts.
A lex Hall is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and specializes in Fitness Nutrition. He has over a decade of experience in various strength disciplines, including bodybuilding, powerlifting, cross-training, and weightlifting. At JDI, he works with newcomers of all backgrounds and modifies every bit of training to teach the most important principles of movement to fit the needs of everyone who comes to him.
I joined JDI Barbell in the Fall of 2016. Impressed by what I had been reading on the website. Very fortunate to be lead to excellent coaching in technique as well as guidance regarding effective thinking . . . attitude/psychology.
