Strength Groundwork

Getting Started

You don’t need any experience to start Strength Groundwork. Our coaches will bring you step-by-step through our system in learning not only how to perform barbell movements effectively and safely, but also understanding how to use your body in a balanced, more efficient way through focus on the principles of all movement. 

When you join -


You will be brought through an intro week  (consisting of three classes held at the beginning of each month)  where a coach will teach you the fundamentals of the basic barbell movements. You will be brought through this curriculum with a group of new members just like yourself.  If you don't want to wait for the next new group, you can schedule to meet privately with a coach to learn these fundamentals for an additional fee. From here, you will work through your first 8-week training cycle that will progressively push you forward.


After your first 8 weeks -


You will continue onto our Strength Groundwork intermediate programming. This training cycle is designed to build an even greater foundation of strength as it increases in intensity and volume.

  • Personalized instruction on the five basic barbell movements: Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift, Overhead Press, and Front Squat

  • The attention of two coaches each class 

  • Support from a group of people working side by side

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

All JDI members get access to our training spreadsheets where they create their own “Athlete Tabs" to track their progress and follow the program at their pace.
